01/25/16 – “Addie” Collie mix at Hart County Humane Society

AddieAddie is a young adult, female, Collie mix. She was found injured while roaming a local cemetery.

A rescuer was able to get the timid dog to safety, where she waited for her owner to claim her. She was provided medical care for the gunshot wound to her back paw. No owner came forward and she became a Hart County Humane Society rescue.

The gun shot broke the bones in her foot. The bones are healing and she has use of the foot but it will be permanently disfigured.

Addie is spayed, micro chipped, heart worm negative, up to date with vaccinations, been treated for parasites and is on preventative. She is crate trained, house trained, gets along with other dogs, cats and people of all ages. She is affectionate; she bonds quickly to those who are kind to her.

Addie is a foster favorite, if you would like to meet her or have questions please call 706-436-0965 or email [email protected].
