02/13/17 – Little Penny Looking for Forever Home

Penny is a two year old female Corgi/Spaniel mix surrendered to Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter by her owner.

Due to the fact Penny was sick with heartworms she would only get out if rescued by an organization that would provide the necessary treatment to get her well.

Heartworms are deadly if not treated but treatment is expensive. Penny has recovered from the heartworm treatment, is spayed, micro chipped, is up to date with vaccinations and has been treated for parasites.

At about twenty pounds, Penny would be a great addition to any family. Applications to adopt Penny can be found at harthumane.org or by emailing [email protected]. For more information call 706-436-0965.
