Smokey and Midnight

Smokey and Midnight are approximately five year old littermates turned into public shelter when their owner passed away. Extremely frightened and grieving for the only person who loved them, they suffered terribly at the shelter. Thinking declawed cats would be highly adoptable; our hope was once the cats were rescued they would find a forever family together. Midnight is friendly and sociable but sister Smokey is quiet and shy. By trying to place the cats together and being too sensitive ourselves to put them in a cage at PetSmart, we have failed them. Smokey and Midnight have been in foster care for two years. While they are cared for, they do not have the attention and affection they deserve, that of a family of their own. Smokey is a beautiful long hair grey female while her brother is a handsome, short hair black male. We will consider adopting the cats out separately to approved homes. Please share their story and help them find a forever loving home. For more information please call 706-436-0965 or email [email protected]
