02/23/15 – “Thumbelina” Special Needs Kitty at Hart County Humane Society

Thumbelina is a 17 month old special needs kitty in search of a special someone to give her a fur-ever home.

Rescued as a week, tiny kitten, Thumbelina was found to be infected with a common virus  that most kittens are able to overcome.

ThumbelinaIn some cases the virus mutates and becomes deadly.

Unfortunately, for Thumbelina the virus mutated and attacked her eyes and nerve system leaving permanent damage.

Luckily, her case is stable and she has learned to live with her disabilities, but even with limited vision, Thumbelina is able to do anything she wants to do.

Because Thumbelina was such a sick kitten and needed so much attention to save her life she now craves the company of her person or family.

Thumbelina gets along great with dogs and people but we think it would be best for her to be the only feline. If you would like more information or would like to meet our sweet Thumbelina please call 706-436-0965 or email [email protected].
