04/13/15 – “Cleopatra” – Sr. Calico Cat in Search of Loving Retirement Home

CleopatraIt was late, the store had already closed and the employees were bringing the last of the carts in when they found the nasty box. On the coldest night of the year, this old sick cat was abandoned.

A senior, approximately ten or more years old, severely underweight due to poor diet and bad teeth. Her diluted calico coat was sparse and she suffered from anemia due to the horrific flea infestation feeding off her blood.

This poor cat hadn’t even been spayed, you cringe at the thought of how many litters she has had. Then you realize kitten season will soon be here and the whole world wants kittens.

What are you going to do with this old cat? You pick the gentle creature up and she rubs her head in your hand, what is a rescuer to do!

Her name is Cleopatra, she is spayed, micro chipped, feline leukemia and FIV negative, up to date with vaccinations, treated for parasites and is on preventative.

This is a quiet, sweet and loving girl who is content to just be with her person. She demands nothing and appreciates everything.

If you would like more information or would like to me our very deserving Cleopatra please call 706-436-0965 or email [email protected].
