10/06/14: “Morti” – Collie/Retriever Mix at Hart County Humane Society

Morti is a handsome young neutered male Collie/Retriever approximately 18-months old and weighs about 40 pounds.

How this sweet dog came to the shelter we just don’t understand, but our group was happy to rescue him when his time ran out.

Morti is heartworm negative, micro-chipped, up-to-date with vaccinations,  has been treated for parasites, and is on preventative. 

He loves to swim, which would make him a great dog for anyone who likes to get out on Lake Hartwell.  He also gets along well with other dogs and is very comfortable sleeping in his crate.

Morti loves people of all ages and has been learning house manners while being fostered. This deserving dog knows he has been rescued, he is very appreciative of kindness and is eager to please.
