11/16/15- “Autumn”-Female Cat Available at Hart Co. Humane Society

Autumn
Adopt A Senior Pet Month.
Even though affordable and free spay/neuter programs have been available for years, unwanted animals continue to flood into our public shelters. While puppies and small or pure breed dogs are almost always adopted or rescued, the large, black and senior dogs are always on borrowed time. The only pet with less of a chance of getting out of a shelter alive is an adult cat. Hart County Humane Society is the only local rescue to take cats from Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter. When the call came that the shelter was overcrowded with cats we answered. Twenty two cats ranging in age from 8 months to 8 years were rescued and added to our already full foster home inventory. Each cat is extremely sweet, healthy and very deserving of a loving family. Autumn is our 8 year old, female, DLH buff cat. She is quiet, gentle and loving. Autumn is combo tested negative, vaccinated, spayed, micro chipped and has been treated for parasites. If you are interested in meeting Autumn please call or email [email protected].
