11/30/15 – “Mufassa” – Pretty Orange Tabby at Hart County Humane Society

When the Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter in Lavonia became overcrowded with too many cats and kittens, the Hart County Humane Society rescued twenty two adult cats in one day.

MuffasaThese cats were added to the already full foster homes.

Muffasa is a quiet and affectionate cat, he gets along with other cats and gentle dogs. He is approximately one year old, neutered, micro chipped, feline leukemia and FIV negative, up to date with vaccinations and has been treated for parasites.

The cats are being cared for in a private foster home until they are adopted. Donations of Purina Kitten Chow (Yellow Bag) Purina Cat Food, Friskies Mixed Grill canned food, Purina ProPlan canned adult, any type litter, toys and fleece or baby blankets are desperately needed and greatly appreciated. Donations can be dropped off at Three Trees Veterinary Services 1087 E. Franklin St. Suite K Hartwell. Please help us help the animals.

The Hart County Humane Society is a volunteer rescue organization. We receive no funding from any government agencies or other groups. We are a 501C3 non-profit organization.
