12/01/16 – “Grant” – Dachshund Mix at Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter Wants to be Home for Christmas

grantLittle Grant needs a home fast because his time at the shelter in Lavonia is running out quickly and if he doesn’t find a home soon, he will be put to sleep.

This little guy is an 18-month old Dachshund mix who loves people and would make a great family companion.

He was found as a stray in August by Hart County Animal Control and brought to the shelter, but no one has ever come to claim him.

But while other dogs and puppies come and go to their forever homes Grant is always left behind.

Grant would make a wonderful family pet or companion for a couple or single person.

He is already neutered and up to date on all of his vaccinations so the normal $55 adoption fee has been significantly reduced.

He must be the only pet in the house as he is not good with other dogs or cats, but if all you want is one great dog, please stop by the shelter and meet little Grant and then take him home for Christmas.

The Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter is located on Bear Creek Road in Lavonia. They’re open Tuesdays – Saturday 11a – 4p.  Visit their Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/northeastgeorgiaanimalshelter/?fref=ts
