Adopt a Cat During Kitten Season

 

The Hart County Humane Society and Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter hosted a cat adoption/kitten shower event this past Saturday. While we are grateful for the adoptions and generous donations, there are still many wonderful, loving cats and kittens looking for loving families. This humane society rescues from this shelter and has cats and kittens at Anderson PetSmart.Please keep in mind when you adopt from a shelter or rescue organization you are getting an amazing deal on a spayed or neutered pet and you are saving the lives of two pets, the one you adopt and the one you made room for. Please help us get through this kitten season with a promise that next year will be better. Use your voice to raise awareness that by spaying and neutering we can end the euthanizing of adoptable pets in our community.
