Antique Boat Show Saturday at Hartwell Marina

We are expecting warm weather and some sunshine Saturday, which bodes well for this year’s Antique Boat Show at the Hartwell Marina.

The Antique Boat Show takes place from 10a to 3p Saturday, April 18 at the Hartwell Marina.

Sponsored by the Hart County Chamber of Commerce, Executive Director Nicki Meyer says vintage boat owners from across North Georgia and the Upstate will be on hand to display their crafts.

“These are antique, wooden Chris Craft boats,” Meyer said. “People can come see the boats, talk to the owners, it’s just a fun time.”

In addition to the antique boats, there will also be a vintage Porsche show, which will kick off Saturday with a parade downtown.

“The parade will begin at the Belk’s parking lot on U.S.29,” she said. “They will then drive to the Marina with a police escort.”

It will also be fun for the kids with games and a bouncy house. In addition to the antique boats and vintage cars, there will also be arts and crafts festival and even dancing.

The Antique Boat Show is free and again takes place at the Hartwell Marina Saturday, April 18, from 10a to 3p.
