Mr. Billy Webb Rogers, age 84, of Canon, Ga. died Tuesday March 3, 2015 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday March 6, 2015 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. A private burial will follow in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6pm to 8 pm. At other hours the family will be at the home. Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice Athens,Ga. Strickland Funeral Home Lavonia chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
