Franklin Chamber Seeks Nominations for Business and Person of the Year

It’s that time of year when the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce puts the call out for nominations for their Business of the Year award and their Citizen of the Year Award.

Beginning in 2010, the Chamber has awarded the Bruce Knighton Business of the Year Award to a local business that has not only been successful throughout the year, but that has also assisted with improving the quality of life for the citizens of Franklin County.

Last year’s winner was Dill’s Food City.

The Charles E. Bradshaw Good Citizen Award” is presented annually to an individual who exemplifies the qualities of a good citizen and who has made a significant contribution to making Franklin County a better place to live and work.
Named in honor of Charlie Bradshaw, the Good Citizen Award was originally presented by the Royston-Franklin Springs Chamber of Commerce until 2004.

The winner in 2013 was Lisa Reese Cisson.
Nomination forms are available at the Franklin County Chamber office in Carnesville or online at http://www.franklin-county.com/.

Winners will be announced at our Annual Chamber Banquet / Taste of Franklin on Thursday, September 25th.
