Franklin County Chamber Trade Show Set For November 6th

Local business owners in Franklin County are encouraged to sign up now for the second annual Franklin County Trade Show.
The show is coming up November 6th at First Baptist Church of Lavonia.
Sponsored by the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce, Chamber director Aida Reynolds said it’s an opportunity for local businesses to interact.
“Participants in the Trade Show are Chamber Members. It’s a way to promote our members, and our business and organizations that we have in the county. If you are not a member of the Chamber, there is a charge to have a booth. However, that charge includes a one year membership to the Chamber.”
The trade show will also be open to the public that evening, according to Reynolds to give people a chance to get to know the kinds of businesses and services available in the county.
“Most people get off about 5pm or so, so between 4 and 6:30pm it is opened to the public and they can cut through on their way home, and still be home in time for supper. It’s not that late.”
Also, several of the local businesses will be doing special presentations for the public, according to Reynolds.
“Shearouse Nursery, he’s going to be a demonstration on the fall planting. Then, we have Georgia Peach Café, he’s going to do a cooking demonstration. We have Mary Kay beauty consultant, she will do a demonstration of makeup application.”

The Trade Show is free for the public to attend.
Any local businesses interested in having a booth at the show, should contact Reynolds at the Franklin County Chamber office at 706-384-4659.
