Mr. J.C. “Jake” Shiflet, 95, of Hartwell, Georgia, died on Friday, January 23, 2015, at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, South Carolina.  Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced later by Strickland Funeral Home – Hartwell Chapel.
