Mrs. Mary Thornton McCurley, 102, of Hartwell, Ga. died Sunday January 25, 2015 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Funera services will be held Wednesday January 28, 2015 at 2 pm at the Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Burial in the Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The body is at Strickland Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Wednesday from 1 pm to 2 pm prior to the service. The family is at their respective homes.
