Mrs. Maxie Roach Spears ,82, of Royston, Ga. passed away Monday May 18, 2015 at Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, Ga. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Thursday May 21, 2015 at the Zidon Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery in Carnesville, Ga. The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 7 pm until 9 pm at on Wednesday evening and Mrs. Spears will be placed in the church at 10:30 am Thursday morning.
