St. Mary’s Adds New Neurologist

The hospital has announced that neurologist Dr. John Edry is joining Drs. Angela McSwain and Robert Steadham in the Neurology Department at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens effective Aug. 1.

Dr. Edry grew up in the Augusta area, attending Aquinas High School. He received his bachelor’s degree from Augusta State University, now part of Georgia Regents University (GRU).

He earned his medical degree from Georgia Regents then continued with GRU for his internship in internal medicine and residency in neurology.  While there, he participated in leading-edge research in stroke.

Dr. Edry is now accepting patients in his Athens office on Daniells Bridge Road, just off Highway 316.

St. Mary’s Neurological Specialists’ main office is located at 2470 Daniells Bridge Road, Building 200, Suite 261, Athens, Ga., just off Ga. 316. The office provides ample free, front-door parking and is convenient to the Athens Perimeter and the Oconee Connector.
