Mr. S. Winston Harris, 86, of Hartwell, passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 at his home. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 1, 2016, 2:00 pm at the Bethany Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening. The family is at the home. Flowers are optional, memorials may be made to the Bethany Baptist Church, 2085 Bethany-Bowersville Road, Canon, GA 30520. The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
