05/22/17 – “Precious” – Lynx-point Siamese Available at Hart County Humane Society

At just over a year old Precious is still very much a kitten, yet the mother of two litters already.

This sweet and beautiful Lynx-point Siamese was rescued from Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter where she was in a small cage nursing her newborn babies.

She and her babies have been cared for and loved by a group of dedicated volunteers at All Hart County Humane Society Community Outreach Center, 95 W. Franklin St in Hartwell.

Two of her babies have been adopted, but Precious and one kitten Charlie are two of the wonderful cats and kittens still available through the Hart County Humane Society.

All of our adoptable cats and kittens are combo tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, spayed or neutered, micro chipped, appropriately vaccinated and treated for parasites.

Volunteers ensure the cats and kittens are well socialized and healthy before they go to their furever homes.

The center on the square in downtown Hartwell is open to the public Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10:00 until 2:00 and by appointment.

There are many homeless cats and kittens this time of year, please consider opening your heart and home to one. For more information please call 706-436-0965 or email [email protected].
