Hart County Commissioners to meet at 5:30 tonight
The Hart County Board of Commissiones will meet tonight at 5:30 at the County Administration Building. The building is located at 800 Chandler Street in Hartwell.
After approving the agenda commissioners are expected to read a proclamation in honor of Veteran’s Week. The American Legion Post 109 will be present to accept the proclamation.
Hart County Chief Appraiser Wayne Patrick is also expected to give a report to commissioners. County Administrator Terrell Partain will then give his report and that will be followed by Chairman Joey Dorsey’s report.
The financial report will follow Dorsey and commissioners will then discuss any issues they have in their districts.
Under “Old Business” commissioners are scheduled to award a bid for basketball uniforms.
Under “New Business” commissioners will discuss advertising for three positions on the Water & Sewer Authority and a recreation board appointment. Commissioners will also review the board appointment policy. The water authority board seats expire on March 1, 2018.
Commissioners will also be asked to approve a resolution for the GDOT 5311 FY18 Grant Application.
The City of Royston is requesting sidearm work on Hobbs Street.
Commissioners will also discuss the new mandated firefighter cancer insurance requirements.
An executive session for personnel, real estate and litigation.
