Mr. Lee E. Carter, Jr., 81, of Hartwell, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 at his home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Burial will be in the Northview Cemetery. The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, GA Affiliate, 223 Peachtree Street, Suite 225, Atlanta, GA 30303. The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
