Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter to Hold Fall Rabies Clinic Next Weekend

The Northeast Ga Animal Shelter Fall rabies clinic is fast approaching.

Northeast Ga Animal Shelter Director Tammie Jourdanais says that the shelter’s next rabies clinic will be held at the shelter next Saturday…

“It is going to be Saturday, October the 21st, here at the shelter from 10am to 2pm.”

The rabies clinic provides the public with the opportunity to have their pets vaccinated at a discount rate…

“We just pretty much need you to show up with your animal, on a leash, or cats in a crate. One year vaccines will be $5 for rabies, a three year rabies will be $10, but they will have to have a previous one year rabies first. We will be doing micro-chipping once again for $20.”

There will be other vaccines available at the clinic other than just your pet’s rabies shot…

“We will be also giving distemper, parvo for dogs, and kennel cough, and also the upper respiratory and distemper for cats.”

For more information on the annual fall rabies clinic, Jourdanais says to call or visit the shelter…

“You’re welcome to give us a call at the shelter at 706-356-5363, or stop by.”

Again the Rabies Clinic will be next Saturday at the Northeast Ga Animal Shelter.
